Author Guidelines

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS

Abstracts should be prepared in English.
Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words, excluding the names and titles of the author(s).
Abstracts should include the research objectives, methods, findings, discussions, and at least three keywords.
The heading of the abstract should be written in capital letters, Times New Roman 12 points, center-aligned, and bold. Texts and keywords should be justified, Times New Roman 11 points, and 1.5 line-spaced.
The name and surname of the author(s) should be placed under the title of the abstract, center-aligned. The information regarding the author/authors’ title, affiliation, contact information, and Orcid numbers should be stated as a footnote, in Times New Roman 10 points and single-line spaced.
Abstracts should be submitted through the symposium website. Please note that abstracts sent by email will not be accepted.
Submitted abstracts will be subjected to blind peer review.
Abstract submission deadline is 20th December, 2024.
Authors will be notified of the decision regarding their submissions by January 15th, 2024, by email.
Following the acceptance of their abstracts, participants should proceed to registration and payment. The deadline for payment is February 15th, 2024.

GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Oral presentations should be in English.
The presentations should be 15 minutes long.
The symposium will take place online via Zoom. The symposium program will include the links for each session. The program will be announced by February 22nd, 2025.

GUIDELINES FOR FULL PAPER SUBMISSIONS

Full papers must not exceed 7500 words. For full paper guidelines, please refer to the guidelines of Etkileşim, Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication Academic Journal. For detailed information, please visit etkilesimdergisi.com/en.
Full paper submission deadline is May 15, 2025 for full paper proceedings. Papers will be subjected to the blind peer review process.
The full-text submissions for the full paper proceedings should be sent to newpath@uskudar.edu.tr.
If you would like to submit your paper as an article to Etkileşim, please refer to the journal’s submission system. Papers sent to Etkileşim will be reviewed by the journal's own editorial and peer-review processes.
